Oliviero Diliberto

Teacher of Roman Foundations of European Law, Full Professor of Roman Law at Sapienza University Rome, Italy, Dean of the Faculty of Law of the Sapienza University, Italian Dean of Chinese-Italian Institute, Leader of the Advanced Training Course on Roman Law, Wenlan Chair Professor of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, Italian Director of China-Italy Law Research Center; Honorary Chairman of Tuscany Literature Association, Member of the Academic Committee of the Annual Report of the Law Seminar of the University of Palermo, Member of the Academic Committee of the Volterra Library of the French Academy in Rome, and Academic Advisor of the Ravenna Caput Occidentis - International Center for Late - Antiquity Studies. He has served as the Italian Minister of Justice, General Secretary of the Italian Communist Party, and a member of the Italian Parliament for four consecutive terms. He has teaching experience of 34 years. He conducts research mainly in the fields of Roman law and Western ancient law and has published more than 100 papers in international journals and more than ten representative legal books that have all been adopted as a standard teaching materials of Roman law by many well-known universities around the world.


Guido Alpa

Teacher of European and Comparative Private Law, Full Professor at Sapienza University of Rome. He has served as the Chairman of the Italian Bar Association, a member of the Italian Supreme Judicial Committee, a member of the Presidential Reform Committee of the Italian Judiciary, and the director of the Private Law Institute of Genoa Law School. Prof. Alpa has teaching experience of 46 years. His main field of research includes private law and comparative law, and he has authored many academic monographs and published more than 200 academic papers.

  

Marco D'Alberti

Teacher of European and Comparative Administrative Law, Full Professor at Sapienza University of Rome, visiting scholar at Cambridge University, Harvard University and Yale University, visiting professor at Columbia University and University of Paris, member of the Board of Directors of the European Public Law Organization, member of the Council of the International Public Law Society. He has served as a member of several counsel and research commissions under the Italian Presidency of the Council of Ministers and various ministries. Prof. D'Alberti has teaching experience of 45 years and has authored numerous papers and monographs in the field of administrative law and comparative administrative law.

 

Laura Moscati

Teacher of European Law History, Dean of the Faculty of International Relations at the University of Rome, Full Professor of Legal History, member of the Teaching Scientific Committee of the Master's Course in Global Market Regulation, and board member of many Italian and foreign journals and scientific societies. Prof. Moscati has teaching experience of 35 years and has published a lot in the field of history of European law.

 

Giuliana Scognamiglio

Teacher of European Comapny Law, Full Professor at Sapienza University of Rome, PhD in law, former professor of business law at the University of Teramo, and member of the editorial board of several business law journals. Prof. Scognamiglio has teaching experience of 35 years and has published numerous monographs and papers in the field of business law.


Vincenzo Cannizzaro

Teacher of European Union Law, Full Professor at Sapienza University of Rome, PhD in law, visiting scholar at the University of Cambridge, Director of the European Law Research Center, life member of the European Society of International Law. Prof. Cannizzaro has teaching experience of 34 years and has published tens books and more than 15 articles in the fields of European law, private international law, human rights law, and competition law.

 

Enrico Elio del Prato

Teacher of Comparative Private Law, Full Professor at Sapienza University of Rome, PhD in law, visiting Professor of Columbia University, former Chairman of the Committee for the Appointment of Honorary Professors of Sapienza University of Rome. Prof. Prato has teaching experience of 31 years and has many publications in the field of private law and comparative private law.

 

Valeria De Bonis

Teacher of Law and Economics, Full Professor at Sapienza University of Rome, PhD in Economics, visiting Scholar at Princeton University, former Consultant of the World Bank Regionalism and Development program, Reviewer of several well-known legal journals such as Journal of Economics, European Journal of Law and Economics and Italian Review on Economic Policy. Prof. Bonis has teaching experience of 27 years and has many publications in the field of public finance, law and economics.

 

Pietro Boria

Teacher of Taxation Law, Full Professor at Sapienza University of Rome, PhD in law, Partner of the Palma-Boria Law Firm. Prof. Boria has teaching experience of 25 years and has published numerous monographs and more than 100 papers in the fields of tax law, commercial law, constitutional law and European law.


Raffaella Messinetti

Teacher of Foundations of European Law, Full Professor at Sapienza University of Rome, PhD in Civil Law. Prof. Messinetti has teaching experience of 23 years. Her research focuses on property law, communication law, and privacy rights and has published many books and articles in these fields in internationally renowned law journals.

 

Huang Meiling

Teacher of Roman Foundations of European Law, Professor and PhD Supervisor of the School of Law of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, PhD in Law; Co-editor of Italian Roman law journal Codex, Executive Editor of Roman Law and Ius Commune Series, and Vice Chairman of the Roman Law and Ius Commune Research Association (Macau). She has published articles in Chinese Social Sciences, BIDR, Peking University Law Journal, Law Science, The Jurist, Global Law Review and other Chinese and international journals. She has translated tens of articles and a book and published two monographs. She presides over the National Social Science Fund project Study on Codex Theodosianus and the Ministry of Justice project Research of the History of the Social Lawyers' Profession in Ancient Rome. She is capable of conduct researches and academic communications in Italian, English, Latin etc. The main field of her research is Roman law, comparative law, and the history of law.


Domenico Dursi

Teacher of Roman Foundations of European Law and Foundations of European Law, Associate professor at Sapienza University of Rome with the full professor qualification granted by the Italian Ministry of Education, PhD in law. He begins to conduct research in the Classical Law Research Center at University of Pavia in 2015. He becomes a member of the European Research Council project Scriptores Iuris Romani since 2016 and researcher at the Chinese-Italian Legal Research Center since 2017. As a visiting scholar, he conducts research at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law since 2018. He has published numerous monographs including and tens of articles.


Maria Irene Papa

Teacher of International Law, Associate Professor at Sapienza University of Rome, PhD in law, Fellow of the Max Planck Institute in Heidelberg, Member of the Board of Directors of the PhD Course of International Law of Sapienza University of Rome, Director of International Humanitarian Law. Prof. Papa has teaching experience of 15 years and has published a lot in the field of international law and European Union law.

  

Leone Niglia

Teacher of European Internal Market Law, Professor at Sapienza University of Rome, PhD in law, visiting professor at several universities including the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, visiting scholar of Pompeu Fabra University and Harvard University, former teacher at the University of Cambridge. Prof. Niglia won Marie Curie Fellowship and obtained funding from different organizations including British Academy and Carnegie Foundation. His main field of research includes EU law and private law and has published a lot in these fields.

Teacher of Law and Economics, associate professor at Sapienza University of Rome, PhD in Economics. Prof. Castaldo has teaching experience of 15 years and published a lot in the field of financial law, law and economics.

 

Angelo Schillaci

Teacher of European and Comparative Public Law, Associate Professor at Sapienza University of Rome, PhD in law. Doctor Schillaci has teaching experience of 10 years. His main research area is constitutional issues in the process of European integration, and he has published many scientific papers in several renowned legal journals.

 

Alessio Luca Bonafine

Teacher of European Civil Procedure and Arbitration, Lecturer at Sapienza University of Rome, PhD in law, former teacher at Roman European University and LUISS University, editorial member of numerous journals incuding Judicium, member of AISPC. Doctor Bonafine has published numerous monographs and hundreds papers in the field of civil procedure law and arbitration law, and given numerous reports in academic conferences.



Li Jianbo

Teacher of Legal English, Professor of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, director of the China Legal English Research Association, member of the Expert Committee and Executive Committee of the Chinese Legal English Examination Certificate (LEC), and Excellent University Teacher under the Ministry of Justice. Prof. Li has teaching experience of 30 years and has published Research of the Vocabulary Development and Structure of English and other monographs, presided over several textbooks including New College English Reading Comprehension Course, and written several academic papers, presided over or participated in projects including The Empirical Research of Complex Teaching Model of Undergraduates Legal English.


Giordano Merlicco

Teacher of Italian,  Researcher at the Institute for Political Studies S. Pio V, PhD in history, once taught once at Tinadue Language School and University of Banja Luka, conducted research once at University of Tlemcen and Yangon University of Foreign Languages. Doctor Merlicco has more than 10 years experience in teaching Italian. He is fluent in several languages including Italian (mother language), English, French, Russian, Serbo-Croatian and Romanian, and has published numbers of monographs and essays in multiple languages.


Zhao Shuang

Teacher of Italian, Bachelor in law of Peking University, Master in European and Transnational Law of University of Trento, and Master in Management of Medium and Small Enterprises of University of Venice. Ms. Zhao is an expert of Italian and owns plentiful Italy-involving experience. She was project director of Masi Taddei Vasoli law firm and participated in numerous Chinese-Italian commercial investment, merger and acquisition of enterprises, management of bands. She was an expert of instant training of Italian at Beijing Language and Culture University, served as the chief interpreter in Chinese-Italian legal conferences and the principal interpreter in various Italy-involving fields and industries including fashion design, vehicles, and architecture.


Zhang Jing

     Joint teacher of private law, associate professor of Zhongnan University of Law and Economics, doctor in law. He acquired bachelor in law from Anhui University in 2011 and after that entered Chinese University of Political Science and Law to study as a postgraduate in the field of private law. After obtaining master in law in 2014, he went to Leiden University and acquired doctorate degree with the dissertation The Rationale of Publicity in the Law of Corporeal Movables and Claims in 2021. His research field includes private law and comparative private law, and he is interested in philosophy, jurisprudence, political philosophy and ethics. He has published several articles in journals including Peking University Law Journal, Global Law Review, Nanjing University Law Journal, Uniform Law Review, Cross-Strait Law Review, Property and Economic Law Journal, SJTU Law Review.
